A Pair of Persian Tiles Rough Heavy ??

I know nothing about these or tiles in general. I got these in trade from someone years ago. I call them Persian knowing that that may be a gross over simplification. They are heavy and rough.
Each tile measures about 5″ across and 7 1/2″ tall and half an inch thick. They each weight 1 pound and 3 ounces. The backs are very coarse and cement-like. On the front you can see that the blue one has a bump on the finger and the red one has two big bumps at the bottom by the border. They are rough looking.
So, what are these?
